So, in the library today, my friend and I were talking about who the Bronte sisters would be if they were ‘angry female musicians’…
Charlotte would be Alanis Morrisette - the most commercially successful; liked by everyone in small doses
Emily would be PJ Harvey - just epically crazy and that is all
Anne would be Ani DiFranco - angry at the world; underrated and a little misunderstood…
And then we got onto talking about who they’d be from the show Charmed, and it was decided that Charlotte is Piper, Emily is Prue and Anne is Phoebe (I felt a little bad for poor ole Paige, being all left out)
Clearly, I am putting my English lit degree to very good use…
